I love watching Hockey and watch it whenever it is telecast on the Sports channels here. I love the way the guys pump and add energy to the sport, as well as how they fight like bulls when things do not go their way.
There is a website, NHL Forumswhich some of my friends who are mad at the sport visit because simply watching it on TV is not enough for them. They want to discuss every move in every match. If not for them how will sites like HFBoards be able to make over five years. Now though, it is messageboards like this that makes watching the sport much livelier as you know you will have to defend your team after every match even if they play badly or lose.

George Bush no more a miserable failure
Add to: Del.icio.us | Digg | Google | Reddit
George Bush has always been a victim of prank; so much so that a google bomb was created to make "Miserable Failure" keyword point to his White House hompage. Now, Google has confirmed that it is no longer the case and the algorithm has been updated. Here is the link from Digg.

Make your own radio
Add to: Del.icio.us | Digg | Google | Reddit
Podcasting is not a new phenomenon. It has been in vogue for quite some time, and the exciting thing about Podcasting is that it not only lets you create your own radio station, but also it gives your listeners the ability to listen to it at will, and not just listen live.
The phenomenon looks to become more trendy now as MyPodCast.com, one of the pioneers here has come up with a free hosting for podcasters offering free bandwidth. Not only that; in order to get more users, the website offers rewards for more and more bandwidth your free podcast uses. That is, you are paid for every download that your podcast receives.

It is just one of those days when Google got a memory lapse, and forgot to renew their domain subscription for their German site, Google.de
That they have a company working for them to manage all domain related issues further gets the issue intriguing. Obviously, Google would not be expected to extend their contract with them...

East Asia Entertainment news that got me red
Add to: Del.icio.us | Digg | Google | Reddit
I keep myself updated on what is happening in East Asia using some of the few good English websites. For the East Asia entertainment news though, I visit this website called StarEastAsia.com
Today, a news article on the website got me red. Do you know Zhang Ziyi? She is one of the very popular Chinese actresses, and you would know her from movies like Crouching Tiger,Hidden Dragon and Rush Hour 2. She was spotted with a hugely old looking guy at an NBA match. huh..
I had to get over that news with other news from Star East Asia like that about Li Yuchun, and Vivian Hsu. Now, that's how life is.!

But, this little kid already knows her responsibilities and says that she is going to continue where her dad left in spreading the wonder that is wildlife. I salute the Irwins.

Nice Valentine Day gift Ideas!
Add to: Del.icio.us | Digg | Google | Reddit
I am pretty much sure that "New Year" is still fresh in the minds of many people, and most of us have actually forgotten a bit about the grand gala next month on 14th. My friend called me up to say that he needs ideas for buying some nice present to his gf. Now, how will I know what his gf likes. I just told him to browse a few websites for that.
In fact, there is a website called Beer Liquors that you could use for Valentine's day gifts. Apart from the routine flowers and perfumes, the site has quick links to a few other gifts which you will not think of by yourself, but which do make great choices for a Valentine's Day Gifts.

San Antonio Lawyers

You might hire the most popular lawyer in town, but when it comes to winning cases, it is not the most 'Page 3' lawyers who win cases, but those who fight for you effectively. Locally, Manu Sharma, son of a politician, tasted this bitter truth when he simply hired a nationwide renowned lawyer to fight his case, and eventually lost.
A San Antonio Criminal Defense Attorney, in their website talk about how selecting a lawyer to fight your case is the most serious of businesses. Probably that is why, the EyeStoneLaw firm is one of the most sought after in San Antonio.
San Antonio is a place renowned for crime and it becomes highly critical for those involved in the legal fights to choose their lawyer since this could mean the difference of getting the culprit behind bars or not. Putting it the other way round, it could mean the difference between saving an innocent from going to jail or failing in doing so.

Atleast, that is what I can perceive from this story on Digg. US now plans to fingerprint all Brit tourists to US and save that information in the same database which stores all convicts and criminals. Oh please, Britain is the only country that nods its head everytime US wants to play bomber. Now, I only hope Britain doesn't feel so bad about it after all...

European property investments
Add to: Del.icio.us | Digg | Google | Reddit
Just browsed across this news item. The article claims that Bulgaria is one of the topmost property destinations in Europe. I wonder what is the reason behind this. As like Asian countries, it is not because of the demand-supply gap. It is more likely because of the huge surge in tourism in the area. Places like Varna are famous simply because of their beaches. I guess, it is better to buy a piece of land of bulgaria property there today. My grandchildren will then be able to feast with my money decades later!

Today, I was stumped at one such headline leading to a chatroom. I was expecting this, and indeed it was. It was about a gay chatting room. And it is strictly for men seeking men.
In fact, BGay.com Chat, the website I visited is a comprehensive resource for gay people. Ok, I did not look much beyond that. I am straight!

NASSCOM leadership forum
Add to: Del.icio.us | Digg | Google | Reddit
NASSCOM, the Indian National association of software companies is organizing a leadership forum in February. The aim is to create a sort of training platform to the members of this association.
What is the next step forward in such an arrangement is to organize global events on similar lines so that members can make themselves ready in the age of globalization. Maybe the organization can take the help from organizations like the SMI / Software Management Institute which have a global reach and appeal which will help in the targets of the meets.
