Google has issued copyright warning about using the company's trademarked name as a verb. This means that you can no longer say that you googled for new flats. Instead, you should only be using the word appropriately as you used the Google search Engine to search for new flats.

This is a terrible mistake on part of Google to not allow googling take course. This is because Googling is such a huge opportunity to reaffirm Google as the most superior search engine..

But, on second thoughts, probably Google does not want to be seen just as a search engine, now with what the videos, maps, etc bringing revenue as well..Only Sergei Brin and Larry Page know best..
